These are the official Terms and Conditions of Use for Susan Goss Brown Consulting located at El Cerrito, CA, herein known and referenced as “Company,” “Our,” “We,” and “Us.”
Our email is [email protected]. “You” and “Your” refers to users of this Company’s website, communications, products, services and related materials, herein known as “Offering.”
NOTICE: These Terms and Conditions of Use are legally binding. It is Your responsibility to read these Terms and Conditions of Use carefully prior to purchase, use, or access of any offerings.
GENERAL PROVISIONS
This website is owned and operated by Company.
1.1 Eligibility. You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to purchase or participate in our Offerings.
1.2 Changes. We may update these Terms at any time. The “Last Updated” date will reflect changes.
SERVICES AND SCOPE
2.1 Nature of Services. We provide executive and leadership coaching and related educational services. Coaching is not therapy, counseling, legal advice, medical advice, mental health treatment, or financial advice.
2.2 No Guarantees. Outcomes vary based on individual circumstances. We do not guarantee specific results, promotions, earnings, business outcomes, or performance improvements.
EXPLORATORY CALLS
3.1 30-Minute Exploratory Conversation. We may offer a complimentary 30-minute conversation to explore fit and alignment. This is not coaching, consulting, or ongoing advisory support. We may decline to offer or continue any engagement at our discretion.
PURCHASES, PAYMENT AND PRICING
4.1 Pay in Full. All coaching packages are paid in full unless otherwise stated in writing by Company.
4.2 Payment Processing. Payments are processed by third-party processors (e.g., Stripe). You agree to comply with their terms. We do not store your full payment details.
4.3 Pricing Changes. We reserve the right to change prices at any time for new purchases.
NO REFUNDS AND CANCELLATION POLICY
5.1 No Refunds. Due to the nature of coaching services and the reservation of time and capacity, all sales are final and non-refundable once purchased, unless otherwise required by law.
5.2 Client Cancellation. You may end your coaching engagement at any time; however, you remain responsible for the full fee already paid and no refunds will be issued.
5.3 Company Cancellation / Refusal of Service. We reserve the right to refuse or discontinue services if, in our judgment, the coaching relationship is no longer appropriate, productive, or safe. If we terminate services after coaching has begun, we will address any remaining unused sessions in good faith at our discretion.
SCHEDULING, RESCHEDULING AND NO-SHOWS
6.1 Scheduling. Sessions are scheduled via our chosen scheduling platform.
6.2 Rescheduling. You must reschedule with at least 24 hours’ notice.
6.3 Late Cancellations / No-Shows. Sessions missed or canceled with less than 24 hours’ notice may be forfeited and counted as used, except in true emergencies, handled at Company’s discretion.
6.4 Session Timing. Sessions begin and end on time. Late arrival does not extend the session.
OPTIONAL TEXT SUPPORT ADD-ON
7.1 Scope. If you purchase optional text/WhatsApp support, it is intended for brief check-ins, reflections, and decision support between sessions.
7.2 Boundaries. Text support does not replace sessions, is not crisis support, and does not include real-time availability. Response time expectations and availability windows will be communicated at the start of the engagement.
CONFIDENTIALITY
8.1 Confidentiality by Company. We treat coaching conversations as confidential and will not disclose your confidential information except:
INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
9.1 Ownership. All materials provided by Company (documents, frameworks, worksheets, templates, emails, written content, recordings, and related materials) are owned by Company and protected by intellectual property laws.
9.2 Limited License. You are granted a limited, non-transferable, non-exclusive license for your personal use only.
9.3 No Sharing. You may not copy, distribute, reproduce, resell, publish, or share Company materials with others.
CLIENT CONDUCT
You agree to participate respectfully and professionally. We reserve the right to terminate the engagement for harassment, abusive behavior, boundary violations, unlawful activity, or misuse of materials.
DISCLAIMERS AND LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
11.1 Assumption of Risk. You understand that coaching involves personal and professional reflection and decision-making. You assume full responsibility for your actions and results.
11.2 Limitation of Liability. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Company will not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Offerings.
11.3 Technology. We are not responsible for technology failures (internet issues, platform outages, payment processor errors). We will make reasonable efforts to support resolution where possible.
CHARGEBACKS AND DISPUTES
12.1 Chargebacks. You agree to contact us first to attempt resolution before initiating a chargeback. We reserve the right to dispute chargebacks and provide documentation of our Terms and proof of access or services rendered.
12.2 Good-Faith Resolution. If a dispute arises, both parties agree to attempt to resolve it in good faith before pursuing formal legal action.
GOVERNING LAW
These Terms are governed by the laws of California, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Venue for any dispute shall be in Contra Costa, CA, unless otherwise required by law.
ENTIRE AGREEMENT
These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Company regarding the Offerings, along with any policies or agreements explicitly provided to you in writing.
SEVERABILITY
If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect.
LEAVING A REVIEW
We may ask You to leave a rating and/or review of Your purchase. If You choose to write a review, You must comply with the following guidelines:

We do not assume any liability for any review or for any claim, issue, liability or loss resulting from any posted review.
